This gamma type S engine is equipped with 4 power pistons made of steel and connected directely to the cooler plate to minimize the dead volumes. The crankshaft is supported by two ball bearings. Two flywheels also act as crank discs for the power pistons.

Clearance between the piston and bore is 0.02mm.

The displacer cylinder is made of 1mm stainless steel plate. Inside, the displacer also serves as regenerator. It is made of round-hole perforated steel sheets. There is 2mm clearance between displacer end displacer cylinder.  The displacer rod is guided by two brass bushings and seals with rubber seals.

The heating part is the bottom of the displacer cylinder and the cooling one is the top of this cylinder. No volumes dedicated exclusively to heat exchange.
